Thats very cool you guys got them. If I still had my NX, I would def. be rocking that. What's the weight difference? What was the total cost for it to your door? I would def. tint that window. At least with tint, it will help keep it from getting scratched up on the inside.

I believe NX$Paniard said there was a 30-40lb weight difference & cost was $930 shipped. A bit pricey but it will definanetly add to the look of the car as well as the weight savings.

Windshield is now out




Used the cut off wheel to take the bad sections out & started glass bead blasting the pillar. Hopefully I can get it all blasted tomorrow & start on welding in the new metal.

Kurt went out & bought a gun the other day so now we have that & a cabinet for blasting.

I have one of those little things, pretty handy, does not work with med size walnut shell though. Worked good with silica sand though.

Once you get everything done, you should consider moding your old hood with some well placed venting.

I could see you making something tasteful and functional to pull some fiberglass parts from...crosses fingers. I've done quite a bit of glassing over the past year or two that i could help out. I've learned the hard way on alot, so at least i could tell you what NOT to do anyways,LOL.

IMO, I would wire the halos in with some fogs or at the very least the markers.

Car is going to the a friends this week to be started on for paint so I worked on striping it down some more.

Engine is now out again as well as almost everything else in the engine bay.








Car was also dropped of this morning to have bodywork began and prepping for paint.


Figuring around a month before I get it back but I will be there helping and posting updates everyweek. Some of you may already know what color the car will be painted but for the rest of you i'm going to keep it a secret until its done.
