| Very nice job so far! I have a fiberglass amp rack that is basically a contoured tub that mounts the amp so you can see it with the rear seats folded down. It contours perfectly with the opening and would ve. Cool way to show off the amp provided your seats fold down. You can have it if you want it... | |

| A little update. I have been working on a few things here and there. The major one was fixing the exhaust leak. The factory cat was getting old and not sealing so i bought a new Magnaflow for it. And thanks to BigBen for welding on the flanges for an easy bolt on. No more leaks but it does get a bit raspy after 4.5-5K RPM which it did not do before. I didnt like the 2 sixes in the rear deck, one the box looked like crap and two they didnt have enough output to keep up with the noise of the car while moving at highway speeds. So i went back to what i had in my SpecV, the OZ Matrix Elite in free air. I need to clean up the wires and finish the amp rack and baffle. I also finished the wrapping the dash with the glove box and drivers knee panel. I wanted to get rid of the factory coolant overflow so i used a water bottle and put some fittings on it for the hoses. I am picking up a VE with rod knock this weekend and wanted to check the compression before i swap heads. I got ~165-170 across the board. I was very pleased with that since this motor has 155K on it now. Not sure when i will get it on but i hope before winter so i can enjoy it a little before next year. | |

| The harness is almost done, thanks to the correct manual (I would have been screwed). Thanks DJ. I am going to add my VVL solinoid connectors and i should be ready to go. I will fit it to the VE then tape it up. My little working area. | |

| Harness is DONE! Hopefully it works. I also put a 6 pin connector (didnt have a 4 pin) on the 4 wire 02 sensor to clean things up. I should be testing this tonight. | |

| ECU is chipped and runs great. I used Calums SR20DE Tuned v4 bin that i found on the other fourm. It seems to pull really nice. I might burn a stock tune to another set of chips and see what it feels like. If anything it is a lot smoother. I had to adjust the idle and the screw is almost all the way in and it idles right at 800 when warm. Set timing back to 15* as well. I found out that i can add launch control to any bin, so that might be the next thing i do to try and get a little more familiar with this whole thing.
I also recieved my consult cable today and i was able to log some data. I did a couple passes and i will take a look and see what it says. Anyone know what the A/F ratio means in Datascan? It says 100 then goes up and down from there, i am assuming at this point that the base is at idle and it is just showing the fluctuation.
I will play around with some things and see what i can find. | |

| When your monitoring Nissans air/fuel, 100% is perfect. The parameters are 92%-108%, so anything in there is good. The lower the number, the richer it is running, the higher the number, the leaner it is. | |

| Ok, im showing 100% most of the time except for decel and between shifts. But in just bounces to 110 then back to 100, not sure if that is just the sampling rate or what. | |
