| Nice. Mine was in that condition when i bought it years ago, but salty WI roads have added some rust. It is my wifes dd. I bought my 99 se 5spd with 70k on it quite a few years ago. I traded in my 93 maxima gxe in on it.
I like the subaru battery.
Great cars IMHO. | |

| Does it have a lsd? Mine does not. That is the only thing that sucks about mine. | |

| No LSD.. LSD wasn't even an option for USA market 4th gen maxima's as far as I know... and was only on rare I30t (touring manual 96 97 or 98s)
I heard it was an option on Canada market Maxima's and some of them found their way to the USA but that is about it | |

| Really? I was under the impression that most of the i30's had lsd. I could be wrong but i am pretty sure it was on most i30 5 spd's. Idk its been a while since i was on maxima.org

Acording to this thread all of the 5 spd i30's had lsd. You are right about the maxima's having no lsd.

| hmm... okay
My 'ex was a tech at Infiniti and told me only the Touring I30t had it for stick but I honestly don't think they ever saw a 5spd manual I30 in the shop so maybe he was wrong.
Hell, I didn't even think an i30 non-touring stick shift existed to be honest!
The only 5spds they ever saw at that Infiniti dealership were 2 I30t's

| Yeah either way most people wanted an auto infiniti, so i would guess they are pretty rare. Sorry for the bit of off topic. | |

| I used to own a black 95 Maxima Se 5-speed that I had all pimped out back in 99. I swapped in a lsd transmission in mine. To do the swap, all you need is the transmission and the lsd driver axle. With that being said, yes, lsd transmissions were available in that body style. I believe it was optional in the 98-99 Maxima SEs. | |

| Thats what i thought but i was not 100% on it. Mine is kind of an odd option package, its a 99 se with cloth, no bose, no lsd and its a 5spd. | |

| okay, I guess I'll have to do more research on the 98 we got then... it has leather interior so maybe? ...although I doubt it being from phoenix (not an area where LSD is in high demand with all the sunny warm days they have) | |
