That does look like a good job on the paint. As long as it doesnt look like shit its all good. Did you have to sand at all?

Yeah, I spent about 4 hours sanding it, just to rough it up more than anything as it would have taken 20+ hours to try and get a smooth finish.

Apparently one of my neighbors reported my car to the city as being a junk vehicle that doesn't run and does not have license plates, as such, the city has given me (5) days to do something with the vehicle or they will come and tow it away. Well jokes on you dearest neighbor, the car fucking runs and it has a damn license plate.

Park it in front of their house all the time now. Do they have a dog? If it barks once call the cops.

Damn thing is I don't know who did it. It might have been a passing officer too, I took the expired plate off when I painted it and never put it back on as I don't drive it. Whatever, new plates should be here next week (hopefully).

looking good man. I'd drive the sh*t outta that. And that's BS about the neighbors. Good thing my neighbors don't fuck with us or it would be bad news for everyone!!

So there's a few electrical issues that I don't know where to start with..

1) If you rev the car past 3K then go off throttle, revs will drop to ~100 and bounce around a bit then stabilize at ~1000 RPMs. I think this might be TPS related, as I doubt the ECU ever registers a closed throttle due to the improvised idling system. (No IACV or air regulator, only a screw that holds the throttle plate open slightly)

2) The interior electronics don't always work. The gauges, interior lights, stereo, power mirrors, and sunroof will not function when first starting the car. Sometimes they never power on, other times they work after revving the car up to ~4K.

3) The car will gradually die when left idling with an electrical load. If I leave the headlights on, it will die. If I leave the blower on, it will die. I'm not sure if the radio does this though.

On the positive, I went for a short drive today and it feels great. There were no 'hiccups' in the powerband at all, very smooth. Although I *think* the throw out bearing needs to be replaced, when left idling with the clutch engaged there is a loud rattling sound from the transmission.

Idle air control valve. Check timing and set base idle.

Can you count all the solder joints?

Does anyone know what this relay does? It's part of the wiring for the gauges.

Can someone confirm that this is a TCM? I ask because the only visible letters on it are MT.

Here is where it came from.

Is it a keyless unit? Is this car an auto?

It is definitely NOT a keyless unit, and the title says auto, but the shifter disagrees.
