Almost all the rust is taken care of and fenders are loosely bolted on since adjustment is needed yet. It helps having donor cars to get the panels you need lol. My doors actually work properly and don't drop down once opened from junk hinges.






















At this rate the car should be in primer or ready to be primered by next weekend.

My friend is taking care of all the rust work since he has a lot more experience. I'm doing more the less appealing work imo on the car lol.

Not so sure about that. The Resto-mod movement is pretty much doing what you are here, just to american muscle. Some of the close-minded simpltons won't get it. I have had muscle cars and been accepted while driving them, then the same people would criticize when I pull up in my Maxima. They are the same ones that BOUGHT their cars. I always give them the old "anyone can write a check" statement and they shut up. Builders appreciate the work, they can see past brands.

Should def look sweet when your done. Let me know when you guys get done so I can bring the Se-r out to get painted. You plan on having it ready for the Convention?

Ya, the plan is to have it ready by the convention. Hopefully I will still be able to afford to go after the car is done lol.

Shaved holes on firewall that were no longer needed






Bottom of fenders were rusted out so had to be rebuilt


A little reinforcing with 1/4 plate were the bolts go through.

looking good nick. I have to stop out one of these days and check out the work.

All wheel wells were epoxied then bedlined as well as rear of car behind bumper.


Entire inside is done as well, cage, sides and roof are flat black epoxy. Floor was epoxied then bedlined.












Top half of car is gloss black now as well.






Calumn ecu I purchased from "ashtonsnissannx" on the sr20forums also arrived today. Its setup for 740cc injectors & z32 maf.

Thanks guys. It looks a bit odd imo right now with out having the black follow thru on the fenders, but I'm sure it will all come together once fully assembled since the mirrors and hood are black as well.
